About Elizabeth
Over 30 years experience between Boston, NY, and Los Angeles working in a range of settings from Child Welfare, Veterans Administration and private residential and outpatient mental health as well as substance abuse treatment. I have a unique and well trained clinical approach and ability to engage with a variety of populations. In my private practice I offer support for adults and young adults (18 and up) addressing; anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, mood disorders, codependency, interpersonal relationship challenges, family dynamics, personal growth, career conflict, parenting, and women’s gender specific issues.
I am a native of Washington, DC. I attended Columbia University for my master’s and Boston University for my undergraduate studies. My significant clinical experience has provided me the opportunity to work with a broad range of clients from across the socio-economic spectrum.
Equally versed in working with complex mental health diagnosis, family dynamics, substance use disorder, anxiety, depression and adjustment issues, my practice is firmly rooted in the respect and the dignity of clients.
I live in Los Angeles with my husband, an accomplished musician, and our two daughters. I am an east coaster at heart and throughout the year I enjoy heading east to connect with my roots. My favorite place is at the beach or hiking the beautiful hills of LA.
